The principles of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) will be applied, with focus strictly according to decreasing equipment criticality. The application of RCM will be ongoing, which implies that the skills necessary to facilitate this process will be established and continually honed in-house.

Because the application of RCM means that a high level of confidence will be placed in the validity and integrity of maintenance schedules, no non-compliance to schedules will be allowed.

The maintenance strategies as developed by means of the RCM process will continually be improved and refined, an to this end a formal “strategy improvement cycle” which will be actively managed, is incorporated in the maintenance processes model.
