A formal process will exist whereby all equipment are periodically reviewed for fitness for purpose (operability), cost of ownership and availability and reliability. If justified, equipment will be replaced.

Equipment earmarked for replacement will be taken up in the assets and facilities plan. Also refer M3 “Develop and maintain an assets and facilities plan”.
